La Tour des Marques. Seul restant du château fort originel, ce Donjon flanqué d'une tourelle. Il porte le nom des propriétaires, les Marques, qui étaient originaires d'Auvergne.
The only remnant of the original castle. It is named after the owners, the Marques.

Hello John,
Good use of the vertical format to frame this tower. The framing trees provide a nice balance to the composition. Very good colours and sharpness.

La France est le pays des châteaux, un périple à faire dans tout le pays où différents styles sont présents, mais toujours beaucoup de somptuosité.
Une photo nette et bien exposée, avec un format vertical tout indiqué.

Nice use of vertical format to accentuate the height of the tower while giving us close up detail. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has excellent sharpness and detail. The blue sky provides a nice backdrop for the tower.
