Chambord is probably the most flamboyant chateau in the Loire. When you wander around the roof terrace (where they used to watch the return of the hunt)you are assaulted by a mass of chimneys, towers, cupolas domes and so on.
I took this photo using a fairly wide angle and had to adjust out another intruding leaning feature using a distortion filter so as to concentrate on the amazing detail of the tower. |
