| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Continuing this little trip around the French Jura, we come to the Cirque des Baumes de Monsieur, just outside Lons le Saunier.
I made this image of the river above the famous tufa waterfall soon after dawn, while the rising sun was illuminating the cliffside with warm Winter light. Conveniently, the water is perfectly positioned to reflect this golden light, turning this attractive little stream to liquid gold. |

Also this one, wonderful,
compliments, Chris
Hello Julian,
It's a shame that this has had so little response as I think it’s a wonderful image. Not really a TE sort of thing I suppose. Anyway, the light and colours are great - liquid gold indeed! I particularly like the way the golden ripples on the water contrast with the blue/white of the falling water, creating a beautiful contrast between motion and stillness.
I’m a big fan of abstracts from nature and see you have a very interesting gallery. The fact that you’re shooting with a large-format film camera also says a lot for your commitment.
Cheers!
John
