To a British person of my age one cannot hear the name Arromanches..or see a picture like this without imagining 1944....immediately my mind is whirring and my imagination filling that beach with men and vehicles and the sky with planes.......most photographs I have seen look from the beach towards the twon so this one is really interesting to see the lay of the land......
A warm welcome to TE Leszek.
best wishes Kev

Hi Leszek,
Welcome to T.E.
Hard to believe the place could look so peaceful after its horrific history.
