Yesterday we wend to Normandy in France, almost 600 Km from Tienen were we live.
This place is very known cause of the Second World War ( the landing on Normandy ) 1940 - 1945 most people know it as D-DAY , If you saw the movie " saving private ryan " you can imagine how hard the battele was more then 60 years ago .
Hard to believe when you see a beautiful place like this .

Hello Peter

I recognize this place (I'm from Normandy and I live not far from here), and it is not Caen as you noticed, but Arromanches-les-Bains and is located in the region Basse-Normandie.
You could edit your publication to change the location to have exact list.
