I like all of the photos you have posted so far. The compositions are very nice. This one has two problems: (1) there is no hint of sunlight, which is obviously beyond your control but makes the photo a bit flat; and (2) it is a bit soft in terms of focus. This second issue may be due to the fact that your photos are scanned, which may cause them to lose some definition, but I have also found that in reducing size or quality to meet posting requirements, sometimes photos need to be resharpened before posting. I tried a workshop of this one - hope you don't mind my taking a stab at manipulating your image. My main goal was to try to bring out the texture of the stones a bit better. Cheers - S
