back on a POV i already shared, more close framing, focusing more on the 'rolling' hills...
i played a little bit with post-processing, and the autolevel option turned strangely to red : see in WS
actualy this version has only more contrast than the original and less noise in the sky

just fields and a cloudy sky (summer was so cloudy in western europe last year!)

you're right, the hills indeed are rolling, I like a lot their smooth curves. beautiful colours, it's fascinating to watch the subtle changes in the yellow and brown tones along the different patterns. excellent photo, my compliments.

Hi Jonathan,

I really like this simple composition and the post-processing for me is utterly transparent. The colors and contrast are perfect for my tastes. I find that the close-up detail in the foreground is what brings everything together.

Hi Jo,
As for me, this version is better with its brighter yellow tones of hay, which add a more optimistic feeling to the photo. You are very good at finding the beautiful curvatures and lines in the nature. Also, the color tones are so fresh and nice. TFS,

Encore une fois, tu sais faire d'une belle campagne un véritable tableau, haut en couleurs.
Le graphisme est accentué par ton très bon cadrage, tu as su donner beaucoup de relief à ton image.

Great light for this fine landscape composition. I like the soft colours and how they blend together to form a perfect harmony. Very good sharpness throughout. Let's hope this summer is better weather wise though it doesn't look promising at the moment.

Comme je l'ai déjà écrit je pense, personnellement je suis plus attirée par les photos d'êtres vivants (surtout les personnes bien sûr) mais il faut reconnaitre que tu es devenu un vrai champion en ce qui concerne la campagne et ses champs, même un chantre si je peux dire : tout est parfait, aussi bien l'avant-plan qu'à l'arrière !

A quand quelques photos de tes leçons de musique (si tu es prof - ou d'autre chose lié à ce sujet, la musique ???) Sans vouloir insister bien sûr...

Olá Jo, you are a master of this kind of landscapes. This one is gorgeous with wonderful colorful patterns. Excellent sharp FG that increase the depth. I like the WS very much as well, although a bit darker and with the strange red cast.

Hi Jonathan,
nice patchwork, and you had the same effect with the colours I had to deal with. I did not use autolevels but level adjustment. But I think the effect is the same.

Encore une magnifique vue sur ce patchwork de champs colorés sous ce ciel nuageux. Les ondulations des collines et les petits bois augmentent l'impression de profondeur et d'espace. Superbe.

Jonathan,
your filed shots are truly priceless. Every single of them are simply beautiful and fill my eyes with real joy. Very well balanced compositions with the lines harmonic and completed with nice colorful patches all over.
The sky might need some additional differentiating work to make the clouds pop out more. Did you use a polarizing filter for this shot?

I like this version better than the WS, Though the color and tone are richer in the WS, I like the more brighter and more refreshin feel of this one. Composition is great with very good POV and DOF, Nice and sharp over all. I like the more vibrant colors and texture of the field, reminded me of some of van gogh paintings. Thanks you always.

It's impossible to leave of admiring this beautiful scenery very captured with splendid different scale's colors. The colorful shapes on ground are magnificent and they resamble each other a board of games. The contrasts between the yellowish in foreground with the dark greens' trees in background are suberb. C'est une très belle composition où tu mets très bien en valeur les courbes de ce vallaon par une profondeur de champ bien maitrisée. Les couleurs dorées sont magnifiques, j'ai juste l'impression que tu as un peu forcé sur le curseur avec l'accentuation?
