A mon avis la plus belle de ta (belle) série présentant ces bandes de terrains de différentes couleurs. Une image vraiment bien captée et au bon moment.

the land texture was already making me gape with awe, s you know, this time it is striking harder iwth the CLOSEer version of these birds.

Très bien fait cette photo, qui capture à la fois l'instant où les oiseaux passent et le paysages avec ses bandes colorées. Cela donne beaucoup de relief à la photo.
Il devait y en avoir des centaines d'oiseaux! Impressionnant.

I like the layering in the fields, but it's that multitude of birds that really brings this to life.
I'd crop along the top to remove the sky, concentrating on the graphic patterns made by the fields. Scroll the image up the screen and you'll see what I mean.
A strong, simple and graphic shot Jonathan - it works well.

Jonathan,
it might be logical at the first moment, but as more I liook into it the less it is really logical. The strong graphic that dominated in the previous posts are been broken by an element of surprise and unpredictability of the birds flying in any direction and being captured in random movement.
What birds are these?

Hi Jonathan,
The different shades of colours along the green grassy expanse, the dynamism of the birds - a combination which produced such an exquisite composition. But I agree with Ben as he suggested a crop on top just below the electricity tower.

I've just seen your shot yesterday.. and it was beautiful, but this one I think is amazing! An incredible graphic effect from the coloured lines (pleasantly non-horizontal), and the bird's fly gives a perfect depht to the scene!!!

Impressionnant cet envol d'oiseau sur ce fond de bandes de champs colorés. Je comprends ton désir de mettre un maximum d'oiseaux dans l'image mais il me semble que j'aurais encore plus préféré sans la bande de ciel très blanc en haut.

Il ne fallait pas se trouver dessous lors de l'envol ou alors avoir un bon ciré !!! Cette nuée apporte une belle dynamique à l'image. J'aime bien le graphisme de ces parcelles colorées. Il me semble aussi apercevoir des quadripèdes au loin... Joli coup d'oeil Jonathan, bravo.

Un vrai nuage d'oiseaux. Une idée de l'espèce ? J'aurais dit des vanneaux, mais c'est vraiment au pif. Trés belle combinaison des bandes de couleurs des champs et des petites silhouettes en en surimpression.

Salut Jo, incroyable cette photo, c'est magnifique comme tu as pu attraper autant de ces oiseaux sur un fond de toute beauté.
Les 2 combinés conduisent a une merveilleuse photo, sans rire.
Boston a maté chicago hier soir, ça m'a fait plaisir de voir le petit (!) noah ... un peu pateau mais très énergique :)

It's nice to appreciate the formation of green lines on the ground, with a great depth of field and almost perfect parallel. The birds in flight, stimulate a very natural way, the whole scenario. Great shot.

A treat to the eyes. In fact your stitch is wonderfully done as well in the TL post. The birds complement the graphical pattern on the field so well. In fact compared to your earlier post of the fields, this is vibrant, lively. Maybe I might agree with Ben about cropping the sky..but nitpick aside, this is a wonderful shot!

Celle ci aussi est très réussie : les oiseaux dessinent presque un maillage. Leurs mouvements, leur couleur noire, sont très graphiques...Et le pilone électrique n'est pas du tout génant : il fait aussi partie des campagnes françaises

Il y a beaucoup d'oiseaux qui profitent de ces champs. Les différentes lignes et couleurs sont un atout à la composition. La prise de vue dirige notre regard au loin. La lumière fait un bon effet aux couleurs. Bonne journée.
