Photographer's Note

Almost all European cathedrals have a rose window above the entrance. The sections of the window radiate outward from the center, like the petals of a rose. These radial sections are usually filled with stained glass. The rose window is one of the most ornate and beautiful parts of the cathedral. This one is en Rouen, in northern France.
