For a few days during the first week of October, the Chapel up the cliff in Fécamp was lit in pink for a breast-cancer campaign.

The building on the left is the semaphore, designed to help the navigation on the Channel.
it is also a very useful way to make quick weather forecasts. The lights at the top of the building turn on when the strenght of the wind will be of at least 5 on the Beaufort scale for the next hours.
Their colors can be white, red or green, and depending on the combinaison, it gives you the direction of the wind.

Coïncidence that evening, both buildings wore the same color.

The vast blue sky is impressive
Maybe I would choose another way to compose it with 1/3 earth and 2/3 sky,but it is interesting your choice too

This is a great photo, and a very good motive. I made a workshop for exercise. Maybe it doesn't make a big difference, but i want to show you anyway.

You have taken a radical option, the subject is only a few percents of the picture, but it works because you have an extraordinary sky.

Bonjour Nicolas,
Moi, j'aime bien la composition qui laisse si peu de place à la terre. De très belles couleurs aussi qui forment un beau contraste. Le seul petit reproche que je pourrais faire concerne la netteté: l'image manque un peu de piqué, cela vient peut-être de la faible lumière...
Une belle image en tous cas, et une bien bonne idée que tu as eue là.
