Bonjour, cher Pierre,
Le titre a de quoi surprendre à la vue du cavalier portant barbe :
Anne de Montmorency est le nom de plusieurs personnages historiques français, hommes ou femmes, Anne étant un prénom porté aussi bien par les hommes que les femmes.
Très bonne réalisation.

A fine capture of this imposing equestrian statue. The colours and detailing in the bronze are very well rendered and sit well against the pastel blue sky.

Hello Pierre,

I might have cropped a little from the right so that the equestrian statue is not so centered. Good sharpness and graphism though. The white tones of the pedestal enhance the effect. Tfs!

Bonjour Pierre,

La cadrage classique des années '70. Il fallait absolument que le sujet soit bien au centre du cadrage. Belle contre plongée qui donne de l'ampleur au cavalier.

Lovely picture of Anne on her horse. Looking at this image I realized that statues like this aren’t made anymore. They are really monuments of our history and tells us about the past.

Bonjour Pierre Je viens de relire sur 'Le saviez-vous.net' le symbole de la position du cheval d'une statue équestre: "... lorsque le cheval a les deux jambes avant levées, le cavalier est mort au combat; tandis que lorsque une seule jambe avant est levée, il est ultérieurement mort de ses blessures de combat. Si les quatre jambes sont posées le personnage est mort de cause naturelle" Amicalement
