I was sure looking at the thumbnail that this was taken in French Guyana! Maybe the driftwood on the beach and the peculiar light... It's a good capture of the mood of the place, and an interesting composition with the different layers (sea/sand/tree).
How did you happen to go there? It is usually well seen to add a note to your picture on TE, to explain more about the picture.
