Photographer’s Note
While wandering through Kourou's small port, we went down to the fishers' pier to discover local fishes.
"Acoupas", "Koko Jandanm" and "Carangues" are here, just out of the net, in fisher's barrow before being sold on local market.
Well cooked, acoupa's loin is an exquisite meal.

hello Adrien,
an interesting image because I am a fisherman's wife. However, given that this is a close up shot I think it needs to be closer still and sharper. To attract points this needs to show better the scales and the colours. The light is catching the fish in such a way as to over expose them in parts and lose the colours. Taken in a different light or from another angle you could have picked out the myriad of colours on the scales. This is not easy I understand but it is colour and textures that people would admire in such an image.
