Photographer's Note

Najac is a picturesque village situated along a slope above the bend in the river Aveyron. An interesting place is that it increases dramatically in the summer population. It is thanks to holiday homes, where a large number of owners are residents of the UK, Netherlands and even Canada, and northern France. City is known for its medieval buildings and ruins of the castle that dominates the village. It was built by villagers in 1253 at the behest of Alphonse de Poitiers.
Najac belongs to ,, Les Plus Beaux Villages de France'', which is the association of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in France.
