Photographer’s Note
Les Gorges du Verdon (Verdon canyon) more often called Le Verdon, located in the southern Alps and dominated by the small villages of La Palud (1200 m) and Aiguines. At the bottom of the canyon flows the river Le Verdon which enlarges into an artificial lake at the end of the canyon, Le Lac de Sainte-Croix.
Le Verdon has about 933 climbing routes. The most famous being the 300 vertical meter high "la falaise de l'escalès". Le Verdon caters for all climbing styles and levels, and climbers come here from around the world. The cliffs and rock faces are one of the most popular meeting places in the climbing world.

Hello Latiff,
What a scary shot. How did you get to your vantage point to take this shot? It reminded me very much of an old image I submitted, Vertical Climb, but you might need a magnifying glass to make out the two ant-like creature.
My apologies, I had exhausted my smileys, but I didn't want to lose this image. I'll be back,

Hi Latiff,
Astonishing sight. I am afraid of the depth, the sight of the man sitting around on the edge of the rock did bad for my heart.:) The vertical composition is very effective, the details are great. Have a nice weekend!

Hi Latiff
These shots always amaze me and this one is no exception. The vertical format works so well and our eyes can move beack and forth between the two climbers.

Hello Latiff,
for me, living on plane land, an astonishing scene! Considering the exif data I see you were really close to the guys. I find this vertical version for much more interesting, it has a higher degree of dynamism also thanks to the figure sitting on a dangerous place. Good composition, very effectful!
Congratulations
Laszlo
