Just before this waterfall, the rafts stopped and the "passengers" have to jump. Taken at the decisive moment. See here (http://fr.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/France/West/Aquitaine/Oloron-Sainte-Marie/photo1267243.htm) how the raft floats down stream

I presume you took this photograph a few minutes before your jump into the raging torrent.
It' a very dare devil activity but beautifully photographed, with an exquisite eye for composition.
Have a good day,

It's an attractive and well composed photo that should have received more attention. It shows a dramatic decisive moment, it's well structured on diagonals, the people provide bright colours and there is a great contrast between the brownish upper right part and the mainly white lower left half.
I would not have like to be part of that expedition.

Une expérience pour les braves, pas tellement pour les coeurs sensibles.Un beau point de vue pour profiter de l'occasion.L'image est parfaitement figée dans le mouvement.

Spot on timing capture of this fearless razor sharp jumper taking the 'leap of faith' which is precisely frozen in a perfect setting with this layout. The diagonal queue lends this a nice depth with the striking colours to complement but the gushing water spray is anotrher attractive element which also contrasts strongly to the setting - and thks to your link. Your brightness control is second to none. Congrats

well, as a person who cannot swim and is afraid of the water, this would most certainly NOT be on my to-do-list :)
but i commend the people who have done it, looks pretty damn scary to me! fun photo, something very different indeed.

This is certainly an usual situation. Your timing and shutter speed is perfect to capture the human figure "suspended" in the air.

I have been white water rafting in New Zealand but the waterfall was the terminus. Luckily we didn't have to jump as depicted here! Good motion blur of the water and excellent sharpness. Tfs!

Fascinating scene, especially for we can’t clearly the destination of this dangerous looking jump.
But it looks like everybody is confident for a good result at the end.
Well-chosen POV and moment of taking the picture.
Have a nice day
