Photographer's Note

The town of Saint-Émilion is one of the principal red wine areas of Bordeaux. This town with only 2.500 inhabitants has a hundred of top wine shops.
Saint Émilion wine area was not included in the 1855 Bordeaux first classification. The local AOC formal classification in Saint-Émilion was founded in 1955.

The basic grape varieties used are the Merlot and Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon has a relatively small presence.
