Photographer's Note

In expectation of tomorrow's National Day in France, 14th July, I am posting this fireworks display.
If you look at the map, we were sitting on a beach of the NW coast of Plougastel, facing the port of Brest where the fireworks were shot from. It was magic seeing the reflections in the sea.
On 14th July, the French celebrate the fall of the Bastille prison, symbol of Royal dictatorship, which marked the start of the French Revolution in 1789.
However, this picture was taken on the 18th July last year, as it celebrated the end of "Brest 2016", the famous reunion of Tall Ships (and smaller ones).
I don't use a tripod I am afraid, so yes, it is a bit blurred again. Maybe, I'll have to invest !

Happy 14th July to all the French people, and to everybody else, as it is supposed to celebrate Democracy, which must spread all over the World.

WS3 : 14th July in Paris in humour, in answer to Sergiom's comment :-)
WS1&2 showing 2 different displays.
