Photographer's Note

Good Morning Friends,

This photograph shows a house built on the top of the Pink Granite Coast in Brittany.

I included some of the rocks so that you could appreciate the source of the building materials for the house.

I have a feeling that it was not originally a house, but that it was a tower, as the cylindrical building, on the end, seems to be built with stones less well faced than those of the main house. It has a whole different style. Could it have been a lookout base or a retreat for the lighthouse keeper? The lighthouse seen here is only a short distance from this house.

I cannot find information about the house on the Internet but I hope that one of our French Trekkers will be able to offer more information.

What a wonderful place to have a house!
The shape is inspiring and the views stunning!

I would have loved to animate the scene with figures but, sadly, the house was fenced and private.

Thank you for your interest, Bev :-)
