Photographer’s Note

Roscoff is a litte fishing village with an old port from where ferries go to Cork and Plymouth.
In 1828 onions were imported from here to England.
The Musee des Johnies shows a classic image of men in black berets with strings of onions hanging over the handlebars of their bicycles.
