I missed the Peace day on the 1st of July, but I think this creation of theme is very interesting: Thank you Achim! Well I thought I would contribute to it even a little late; after all Peace days should be everyday of the year!
Here is a photo of two youngsters having some fun practising Indian wrestling. It was a competition, but the loser was very fair-play, and everyone had a good time, either the protagonists or the on-lookers.
As a teacher, I think non-violence starts in the schoolyard, and it's not an easy job unfortunately, but we must keep trying!
PS. I am so glad I happened to post this photo on the very day I learned about Ingrid Bettancourt's release together with her 14 companions. I am so happy that everything happened without any bloodshed. Yersterday marked a real progress in Peace; so there must be hope for the future in Colombia and other places in the World!

Excellent cadrage de ce bras de fer.Voilà un jeu toujours pratiqué en Bretagne pour montrer qu'on est le plus fort mais quelquefois cela se termine mal.

Je me souviens lors de récrés m'être aussi mesuré à des copains en tout bien tout honneur et ça se terminait toujours bien... Je suis également bien content pour Ingrid et toute sa famille, cette libération est un espoir pour ceux qui restent encore entre les mains des FARC... enfin espérons le.

Des moments d'affrontement et de compétition mais qui se passent dans un bon esprit... voilà sans doute une des règles de la Paix!!

Je trouve très difficile de rencontrer bonnes cadrages dans situations comme cette si, mais tu l'a réussit très bien. On s'aperçoit très bien de la tension et l'effort des garçons.
Une jolie contribution pour le thème.

Sono sicuro che chi ha vinto non ha umiliato il perdente ed il perdente, forse il ragazzo sulla sinistra, ha dato tutto prima di perdere.

bonita y simbólica aportación al tema de Achim, estos chicos compitiendo en un pulso son un buen ejemplo de cómo se podrían resolver las diferencias entre la gente o entre los países, o entre las religiones.....
De una forma inocente y sobre todo, totalmente incruenta.
Pero como dices, el día por la paz debería ser permanente.
