Hi Warren,
I think you broke the technical rules with a brilliant result.There is no real black or white in your photo and some say that the white balance is not correct but who cares? The mood is much more important that technical details.
It has somehow a dreamy feeling...How can you not like something like this?

Hi Warren,
A beautiful claudy scenery. There may be also some digital camera haze. With Gimp there is a tool for tone mapping. It can help to minimize haze, if you want to do it.
