A view of the smartly painted war memorial, in the little village of Bussière-Badil; in the background stands the parish church of Notre-Dame and Saint-Michel.

Bussière-Badil is a commune in the north of the département of Dordogne, South-West France located just over 14 kilometres north-west of the town of Nontron. Having a population of just over 500, its inhabitants are known as Bussiérois. Like much of the Dordogne, its economy relies to a certain extent on tourism.
