Photographer's Note
Versailles has been the host for many great moments in history. It was the home of the french king Louis XIV, the place where the leader of Germany once was chosen and even where WW1 ended! A lot has happened here through times and now it hosted me!
I had visited the castle and its enormous garden some days before with heavy rain showers and lightning and thunder. A great sight, but not exactly the perfect weather. This time I was actually there to see the light shows in the dark called "Les grandes eaux nocturnes". It was set up by the same people who lit the Eiffel Tower for the new millennium and it was wonderful. The gardens were lit with lamps, and there were spectacular fountains and fireworks too. The show started a bit before it had become dark, so when I arrived, what I could see was this. The sun was close to the horizon and the sky was perfect. It was such an amazing experience to be there right then!

Hello Fredrik
Beautiful light in the late afternoon! it creates an amazing three-dimensional and luminous impression. it seems you have a potential for straightening the vertical lines for not making feel uneasy.
i like this a bit darker exposure to increase luminous impression. Beautiful color.
Have a nice day, Hisashi

Hi Fredrik,
a nice point of view of this palace. The people look like statues as I can see in the top of the palace.
Good colors, but I think a bit more sharp will be nice.

Hi Fredrik,
incredibly warm sunlight. Fantastic effect.
Nice perspective although I would consider corecting the perspective in the left side.
The people seem enjoy the sunset.
Very attractive capture,

Hello Fredrik
Excellent exposure with some superb detail in warm light. A very well chosen POV certainly helps to convey the impact greatly. A nicely framed and great perspective of an interesting architecture and the side lighting at late hour of the day really adds so much to the image. the crowd is good additional subject for scale ref. Crispy sharp, strong clean lines and good verticals. Beautiful golden tones, and equally fabulous in contrast against blue sky. Great capture my friend.
Best regards
