Photographer's Note

In one of the corner of the Palais Royal and its garden originally design by Andre le Nôtre (1613-1700). There is a fine restaurant in the Galerie de Valois designed par Victor Louis towards 1781-1784. The galleries de Valois itself shelters number of little shops which used to include the famous diamond jeweller Frédéric Boucheron opened his first store in the Galerie de Valois, at Palais in 1858. This restaurant, which opens all day, has tables prepared for those of who wish simply to have a coffee or tea is open daily. One of the finest features of this restaurant is a covered terrace in the courtyard of Palais Royal. Although I have never dined there myself, during the evening the restaurant seems to have one of the finest atmosphere in the neighbourhood.
