Photographer's Note

In Dutch you call it "komkommertijd" (cucumbertime), the period of the year where the newspapers start (re)writing about the Monster of Loch Ness and other hot news items, because there is no news. For me it is the time of the year where I start being fed up taking pictures of naked trees, snow flakes and other Winter subjects. Running out of fresh fodder I start going through my archives, trying to find something worth sharing with my fellow "amateur" photographs, and worth submitting to the critical eyes of the critiques. So I found this, rather old picture of a windy April morning at the harbour of Quiberon. I took this one with a Minolta Dynax 7000i and hat it converted in the than popular KODAK Photo CD. It went through Photoshop CS
- added a tiny bit of contrast,
- and a spot of unsharp mask.

Yours truly
