i love the contrasting colours of the rock/water. the dark area down the bottom though is a little distracting.. other than that a well cptured scene..

Indeed a classical but it remains a wonderful sight! Very good use of light and POV. I like all the horizontal layers on the clay cliffs.

Hi Alexander, beautiful landscape with great colors, good compo by having this piece of blue on the left (not more, not less) and the different color's stripes. A big boat in the background and it would even be better, well done.

Typique mais superbe et parfaitement réussie.
Ce sont souvent les lieux les plus photographiés qui sont les plus difficiles à prendre correctement en photo et là tu as parfaitement réussi car on voit bien la taille de ces falaises.

Hi Alexander, thanks for the interesting notes to accompany this impressive view. The striations in the cliff face and the 'island' are very striking - a good subject. A difficult shot because of the brightness of the light reflected by the cliff, but the reflection and the shadow that you mentioned are effective elements. The buildings give a good idea of the size. I've detected the very slightest of tilts in the horizon, which becomes visible to the eye because the horizon is so close to the top of the photo. Perhaps the only way to include more sky without losing any of the reflection might be to zoom out just a little bit. But overall, the striking aspects of the photo make it very pleasing.

This phenomenon of nature is very well depicted, well framed and with good clarity of colours...
