Photographer’s Note

La-Trinite-Sur-Mer, a village in Bretagne. Side by side, hundreds of pleasure-yachts are situated in the harbour. From the bridge you have a fantastic view, especially when the sun is on the best side.
Here's one not from above but with a very, very low point of view. Hope you like it.....

Great shot Hans. Good composition; by isolating a small part of the yacht against the sky you've created a very interesting and dynamic image. I like the sunlight glinting off the metal railings.

So you have been there§ I like the ambitious POV here, you frame for a good blance of elements and dynamic lines. the boat is out of context and is transformed in a flat catch like a drawing.

Hoi mijn vriend,

Een detail foto tegen een sterkte blauwe lucht, het lichtere blauw maakt alles zo zacht, dediagonale lijnen naar de mast zorgen voor een goede samenstelling.

Hans,
Blij je weer eens wat van je te zien. Dat is een tijdje geleden, maar dat kan ook aan mij liggen. TE is een beetje uit zijn voegen gegroeid en dan kan het zeker voorkomen dat je niet alles ziet. Mooie foto, goed lijnen spel, terug vallend in die mooie kleur blauw, mooi kunst stukje.

Well composed and artistically presented. I like this low angle POV which emphasizes a slice of the hull and all of the nautical fittings. The lighting is superb here, and the sky divine. Well captured, Hans.

Uitstekende foto vanuit een zeer goede POV! De blauwe kleuren, zowel van de boot als van de lucht zijn prachtig. De weerkaatsing van het zonlicht is een leuk detail. Mooie foto!

Wow so many comments you left on my photos..thank you! My turn to leave the message that this picture inspires me very much as I am coming from a sailor family...so I know this kind of view very well...beautiful combination of blue tones and nice wheather...and makes me dream of far destinations!

Nice to meet you here!
First I think it's a very clever cropping with a strong graphical value. I like to see those well framed tiny pieces of life... Always a pleasure for the eyes. Thank you for that!
But further I regret the disturbing noise in the dark blue sky. I think I would have tryed a less strong resizing - you've got only about 78 Kb left? - and after that maybe running it "gently" through NeatImage. I'm sure it would be worth to try again a repost.

Hoi Hans,een prettig weerzien met een TL capture van je. Het perspectief werkt geweldig met de strakke vormen van de boot en de schittering is de icing on the cake. Er zijn maar drie kleuren en dat maakt de grafische kracht van deze extra sterk!
