Photographer’s Note
Minerve is a medieval city in Languedoc Roussillon, not too far from Carcassonne, perched on the side of a valley. Minerve gave its name to the region it inhabits, le Minervois, which in turn gave its name to the wine appellation.
Minerve was, at the beginning of the XIIIth century, a city where cathars stay. It is besieged in 1210 by Simon de Montfort who burns the cathars at the stake.
Today, the narrow streets host wine cellars and tourist shops.

Hello Delphine,
I like these little cobbled streets that are so prevalent in Southern France. Very attractive composition with good tones and textures. Nicely done.
