Lavender Farm Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is my contribute to my theme about the lavender, in this image we are over the "Col de l'Ayens" close to "La Palud sur Verdon", into our small tour of Provence we have had the time to watch the beautiful "Gorges du Verdon" and these lavender fields are located along the road that comes from "Moustiers Sainte Marie" to the panoramic POV over the Verdon river and canyon of La Palud.
Image taked with my old 2Mb Kodak Camera.

Hi Vinicio, If I don't see a Lavender farm in France before I die, I will die! I love this stuff!
Great natural colour here. Good comp. I like the slight tilt of the hill from left to right.

Ciao Vinicio, questa bella foto mi fa piacere, a vederla, e rabbia a ripensare a un pò di anni fa quando trascorremmo una settimana in Provenza e nella zona dell'Ardeche e del Roussillion...e persi circa 10 rullini fotografici....in pratica tutti, tranne quello che era rimasto nella macchina!
mi consolo vedendo questo stupendo tipico paesaggio Provenzale, con i bei colori della lavanda, la bella prospettiva sul campo e il classico casolare sullo sfondo.

Hi Vinicio,
The mix of lavender and green colours gives very soft appearance, like waves in the wind. Quite pleasant summer feeling. I guess also those clouds are welcome that time of year.
That fence pole could have been omitted.

Lovely view to the lavender field which fits very well into this rolling landscape, both by its shape and colour.
Nice detail of the old house, with some very thick clouds above.

qué foto más bonita y agradable a la vista! La plasticidad y los colores de los campos de lavanda en esta bella región siempre es una imagen muy atractiva. La organización de los elementos en el encuadre es magnífica, y me alegra ver que recuperas fotos de tu vieja cámara digital de 2Mp. Yo también lo hice, a veces pensamos que esas fotos no tienen gran calidad por su baja resolución, pero el resultado es sorprendente.
Me gusta la luz y los bellos colores de la foto, así como el cielo, que está precioso.
Enhorabuena, es una gran composición.

Hello Vinicio,
So good to smell lavander in the morning :o)
I have to say I love this region which is for me one of the most beautiful in France, after Velley of Clarée, of course :o)
Your image is composed perfectly with these lines of lavander heading to this wonderful old stone farm. The sky is great too.
I would only have cropped to remove the blue wire and white thing at the bottom left.

Very pleasant shot, great light that works so well with the purple colour of the lavander. The bright sky with clouds is very well rendered. A great one.

not bad at all to be such an old digital. deffenitly works well for publishing on the web.
Even it's hard to get that Lavendel blue color ( but i think thats hard on any camera, there is fortunably things that you can't take photos that make them justice to their beautie.
Yeah! it is a marvelous area in france and the gorges is absolutly fantastic.

A superb landscape quite of Provence where it misses nothing any more but the odors !!! A pretty framing on this fields of lavender where the colors gives much contrast to the photograph with the sky too. It is an image pleasant and resting. Beautiful work Vinicio, cheer.

Lovely lines formed by the lavender fields deep into the pleasant countryside scene on the sloping hills...love the colour of lavender, a plant we don't see much in our country. The cloudy sky is a great backdrop

I missed some of your photos and I stopped on this one because all the elements in the compo are simply beautiful! Almost like a painting with the lavender flowers which create a nice pattern. The cloudy sky create a dynamism and the colors, light and framing are great. It goes to my theme 'more fav.pictures'.

Hi Vinicio, and congratulations for reaching 10000, i really like this picture, lavande is very photogenic and you caught a beautiful field there, so peacefull and calm.
I would have perhaps enhance contrast and saturation a little bit.
