The front a house at Chedigny, one of my favorite villages in my region (Touraine, in the Loire Valley), 10 kms from home. In order to avoid the desertification of the village, the mayor had the idea to let some houses to the artists who wished to stay there: painters;ceramist, sculptors...as a result, nowadays Chédigny hosts about 30 artists for 300 inhabitants, and has become one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in France. Moreover, a blues and cuban music festival is hold there in august with fantastic musicians.

It is not surprising to have such a village as your favourite. I've not seen it unfortunately, but if it is like this beautiful as you depicted, it surely must be a wonderful place. Framing and the compo are great. Congrats,
Deniz

Hi Jerome,
A nicely framed facade, all the little plants and the curtains make this look really homely and inviting. The violet window at the top left is an nice detail to make the composition a little more varied.

Technically I have some remarks. First, there are pretty severe jpeg-artefacts here, this photo is 116KB and you are allowed to use 200KB here, which I think you should. Second there seems to be a slight green cast, the colors look a little bit unnatural. Third, the perspective makes the picture look tilted, personally I prefer this sort of shot to be taken at an angle perpendicular to the wall, i.e. so that the camera is at an equal distance from both the left- and rightmost side of the picture.
