Photographer’s Note

Lors d'une promenade au lac de Châlette-sur-Loing, j'ai vu ces mâts alignés en diagonale, ils semblaient abandonnés là car il n'y avait pas de vent, donc pas de clients pour utiliser ces voiliers. Seule la voile jaune semblait prête pour un départ imminent...

Bonjour Christian
une belle perspective apportée par cette succession de bateaux. J'aime bien le fait qu'il n'y ait qu'une seule voile sortie. Elle apporte une belle touche de couleur dans cet ensemble. Une belle photo.

You have a good eye Christian; the row of parallel L shapes works very well. The perspective and repetition leads us right through the frame. The strong yellow of the sail catches the eye. You have a beautiful sky too.

A very nice composition of these little boats drawn up along the lake shore. I like the diagonal perspective and the repeating motifs of the masts with just the one yellow sail. Good colours and sharpness.

Christian, tu as eu de la chance d'avoir une voile jaune, elle dynamise bien la photo. Le ciel est superbe et ces petits bateaux alignés font un beau graphisme avec leurs mâts bien parallèles.

Very nicely composed picture, Christian. The row of masts by itself would not be so interesting, but the single yellow sail makes all the difference, providing colour and contrast. Your photo is well cropped and the angles are just right. Good work.

Ces mats apportent du graphisme, perspective et profondeur et les coques forment une belle diagonale! La lumière est optimale et les couleurs, notamment de l'eau sont de qualité grace a une exposition bien maitrisée avec le banc des nuages bien dose

Bonjour, mon ami Christian,
un graphisme excellent dans cet alignement dans une diagonale des voiliers sur la plage, et dont les mâts forment aussi une autre diagonale dans un autre angle, vers le ciel.
Un ciel réellement magnifique avec sa belle couleur bleue bien polarisée et les nuages si blancs.
Tu as eu une grande vision pour trouver ce cadrage splendide, qui donne un résultat esthétique et chromatique parfait.

Bonjour Christian,

Ce jaune flachouillard (c’est pas français mais pour une image forte il faut une expression à sont niveau) capture immédiatement le regard, cela créé un cachet tout de suite très originale pour la photo, ensuite tout s’articule autour, des couleurs chaudes transpercées par ces coques blanches et cette juxtaposition de mat bien noir, ça ça tranche net, ensuite une eau tropicalisée pour situer le décor, et enfin l’apothéose finale que ce ciel encore accentuer par cette compo exemplaire, bien amicalement,

Superb lines and graphism here with the masts all lined up. The yellow sail nicely breaks up the symmetry and adds that dash of extra hue. The bucolic sky promises some wind, though the warm tones of summer are much prevalent here. Very satisfying work.
