I was going through some old prints from the days when I did my own darkroom work and came across this picture of Paris. It was taken with Tri-X film, but I printed it on high-contrast paper to see how it look if I emphasized shape and line. The scene is the Place de la Concorde, with its signature fountain and the lampposts, and the Eiffel Tower in the background.
I scanned the 8x10 print into Photoshop and adjusted the levels a bit to show more of the details of the fountain. |

A very nice silhouette of these well known architecture from France. B/W is great here. Considering this is scanned, then the quality is still very nice. Sothy
