Notre-Dame at dusk Photo

Photographer’s Note

To fill a gap between two travelogues, I have decided to post a small serie of views taken around cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris, at the beginning of February 2007. You can take them as "test views", since they are the first night views taken with a tripod (I had bought it one month ago).

To start the serie and to position its location, one of the most classical point of view, the left side of the cathedral, which I had already used in dayl light, but here at dusk.

Excellent cadrage pour ce splendide et célèbre édifice que l'on ne présente plus.
Une architecture absolument superbe et quelle Histoire derrière ces murs!

That must be quite a wide view, Emmanuel. Good time for photography with the soft light. Could use a tripod at those exposure values for a sharper image though. Best,

Superbe Cathedrale prise d'un angle intéressant. Les couleurs sont sobres et l'architecture à en couper le souffle. Dire que je l'ai visitée virtuellement dans les moindres détails à travers un jeu vidéo. Bien vue! Bravo Emmanuel!

tres bon cadrage ,bon POV jolies couleurs , le grand angle déforme un peu mais c'est le jeu , il parait que depuis la Tour d'Argent la vue est sympa mais c'est une autre histoire ;-)
