Parce qu'en France, il est de plus en plus difficile de prendre des photos de gens dans la rue sans se faire engueuler, rabrouer, sans être regardé avec suspicion ou même interpellé... Puisqu'on ne peut photographier ni les policiers en uniforme, ni les terrasses de cafés qui sont considérées comme domaines privés, ni les reflets sur une porte de voiture sans se faire prendre pour un voleur... j'ai décidé de me rabattre sur les nounours. Mais là encore, il a fallu parlementer, les artisans qui exposent leurs créations sur les marchés ayant la trouille de se faire piquer leurs idées...
Ouf! J'ai finalement pu m'approcher des nounours pour leur tirer le portrait! Sur cette photo, le nounours m'est apparu bien vaillant, comme s'il était le seul à n'avoir pas été terrassé sur le champ de bataille, le dernier survivant...
A propos d'ours... Puis-je vous conseiller de regarder, si vous en avez l'occasion, le film "Grizzly man" de Werner Herzog, sorti en 2005. En fait, il s'agit d'un documentaire dont une partie a été filmé par Timothy Treadwell lui-même et qui est une chronique de sa vie, et de sa mort. Timothy Treaswell a passé treize étés dans le Katmai National Park and Preserve en Alaska, où il s'est filmé en interaction avec les ours sauvages. Un véritable exploit qui a fini tragiquement quand lui et sa petite amie ont été rtués et partiellement ingéré par un ours en 2003. "Grizzly Man" comprend, outre la propre pellicule de Timothy Treadwell, des interviews de gens qui l'ont connu ou ont été impliqués dans sa démarche.
Dans ce film, on découvre un homme dédié aux ours, passionné, excentrique, extrême, fou, imprudent et suicidaire pour certains, mais aussi très intéréssant, touchant et drôle.

Because in France; it's more and more difficult to take pictures of people in the streets, without beeing given a roasting, without beeing watched without suspicion or even beeing arrested. Because we can't picture policemens in uniforms, neither the cafés sundecks that are considered as private places, not even some reflections on a car without beeing suspected to be a thief... I decided to set my heart on teddy bears.
Phew! Finally I could approach the teddy bears to have their photo! On this picture, the teddy bear appeared to me very brave, like if he was the only one to not have been stroken down on the battlefield, the last survivor.
Speaking of bears... may I suggest you, to watch, if you have the occasion : "Grizzly man" filmed by Werner Herzog in 2005. Actually, it's a documentary. Most of it has been filmed by Timothy Treadwell himself and is the chronicle of his life and death. Timothy Treadwell has spent thirteen summers in Katmai National Park and Preserve, Alaska, where he has filmed himself in interaction with the wild bears. A real exploit that ended tragically, when he and his girlfriend were killed and partially ingested by a bear in 2003. "Grizzly man" consists of Treadwell's own footage, found later, and interviews with people who knew or were involved with Treadwell.
In this movie we discover a man dedicated to bears, passionate, eccentric, extreme, crazy, foolhardy, but also very interesting, touching, and funny.
