With one boat lying slant on the bank and another fishing boat moored on the water, this scene makes a good daily life story. The boat looks small, but for a river of this, I suppose it is practical.

I like the net wide open on the boat.

Hello Joel.
I was hoping to visit this marsh when we were in La Rochelle last year, but didn't have time. Your photo makes me want to go back and see it.
I like this shot for the beautiful gentle light and the sharpness of the details of the boats. It seems a very delicate shot to me. I like the sunlit tops of the grasses on the shore, and the way the hull of the yacht reflects the light into the water. A very nice shot indeed.

Joel, very evocative shot with the sail boat on the flats and the other moored in the stream. Colors are nice for making it feel isolated. Nice detail.

Salut Joël,
the warm evening light makes this one very peaceful and the two ships are for the eye to find a point (or two) for focus. A lovely scene of daily life.

It looks like evening light that is casting a warm flow over the boats in the estuary. You have a good selection of images from your time there, so it must have been a difficult choice to decide which one should be the main post. I think this one is probably the best "arrangement" of the two boats, but I love the way you have captured the ripples in the water on "other sight". It looks as if you used a lower POV. Were you in another boat? I love mussels, but I don't think they are as popular here in the UK as they are in France.

ce qui fait la beauté de cette photo,c'est la lumière du soir qui tombe sur le blanc des bateaux,et l'illumine d'une très jolie façon!Les bateaux ressortent ainsi très bien dans le paysage déjà assombi,mais dans lequel la petite bande verte d'herbe apporte elle aussi un bel éclairage et une belle touche de couleur!

la marrée basse est toujour imrpessionnante, surtout pour nous ici dans les montangnes, elle permet de se ballader loin sur les plage, c'est magique,
superbe image de ces deux bâteaux, on diriat vraiment qu'un val basculer, l'autre avec son filet est superbe. très bel ensemble.

Bon angle pour prendre ces deux éléments dans cet estuaire mais il est sans doute dommage qu'il apparaissent si proche l'un de l'autre on voudrait les aérer pour mieux valoriser la composition.
