excellente cette photo avec le jeu d'ombre et de lumière, cette arche et cette ruelle qui nous emmène dans ce joli village fleuri comme on peut le voir, aux maisons typiques et sous une luminosité parfaite

Hello Stephen

A nice view of this beautiful village. The narrow streets are typical and you've retranscribed the atmosphere very well with your composition.
The light is perfectly managed, with an interesting play between shades ans light, and that is not so easy to do !
Perhaps I would have cropped the upper part, just below the arch, to "enter" more in the scene and to remove the slight cyan veil on the stones.
I've tried a WS, hope you don't mind.

Lovely shot, lots of detail, the open shutter, the lamp in the background and of course the flowers.
Well managed light, the contrast is handled perfectly.
Good composition to show this narrow street at its best.

Good to have both diagonals of the cobbled street, originating in the 2 fg corners. The stone arch nicely frames the bg scene. Good sharpness & tfs!

I love these kind of images wih arches framing a view and this is particularly well done. The light/shade contrasts have been well handled and your DOF and focus are excellent, as the both the foreground and bacakground are perfectly sharp. Our eye is really drawn along the path to the lovely pink flowers.

Salut Stephen,
Une bonne photo malgré la forte luminosité ambiante. Bonne qualité de l'image qui permet d'apprécier le détail de l'arche et des murs. Mais ce qui focuse mon regard, ce sont ces hortensias au fond de la ruelle.

J'aime beaucoup cette image avec ces jeux d'ombre et de lumière, cette belle perspective qui conduit vers le fond de la ruelle fleurie et ce beau cadrage centré sur l'arcade.
Je me demande toutefois s'il n'auraut pas fallu cadre uniquement sur l'arcade et supprimer toute la partie qui la dépasse ?
Quoi qu'il en soit une très belle photo.
