Good shadow detail with excellent sharpness & superb exposure. Good textures in the old stone & wood facade. Perhaps I'd burn in the highlights, & add some colour in them too. I may try a ws. A fantastic blue sky. Tfs!

Very clearly in need of repair but this building still has a lot of fine details with interesting colours. What will be kept after it has been restored?

Bonjour Stephen,
excellent document. Bien sûr qu'elle a besoin de restauration, mais pas à n'importe quel prix, il faut qu'elle conserve tout son 'ancien', toute son 'âme'.
J'ai assistà à Monschau, à la restauration d'une très ancienne maison avec des techniques très anciennes aussi.

need restoration but i like it like this, it looks so good, maybe the sun on the walls would be interesting to emphasize colours of the textures
