Honestly this picture is more beautiful after opened, the golden texture of the Fallen Virgin really stunning out and the dark bg around creates a mysterious feeling to see it. Very nice....and thanks for share it.

pas facile à cadrer ce genre de monument, je ne sais vraiment pas comment je l'aurais fait à ta place.
Le post processing me plait beaucoup, le passage au duotone semble ajouter un peu de mystique.

Ces derniers temps, tes photos semblaient saupoudrées d'un magie dorée... mais aujourd'hui, tu es passé à la magie argentée! Cela donne un effet spectaculaire sur cette vierge aux mains immenses.

Great shot! First of all, from a technical point of view, the low angle looking up gives some very good lines, converging toward the face of the statue. The black & white conversion is also very good. Very interesting idea too, with the virgin in a cage, or behind bars. Excellent all around photo!

surprenante photo, à l'ambiance mystique et quasi fantastique. on dirait que des petits hommes verts ont empaqueté la Vierge pour venir la chercher. Celle-ci fait des appels des bras pour être sauvée.

Hi JB,
Cool use of wide angle and point of view from below giving the statue a powerfull feeling. What I like best in this shot is the reflection of the cross in the glass. Sepia sort of toning works well and suits the subject.

Je me souviens de la photo de Xavier sur cette Vierge "enchâssée"... Ton traitement est vraiment étonnant. On croirait la statue translucide ici. Je suis épaté par la netteté et la finesse de l'image. Superbe et "divine" composition, bravo JB et merci pour la photo complémentaire.

Y'a une puissance dans cette compo, c'est du délire !!
La vierge semble frêle, fragile et incroyablement triste dans sa prison. Et le pov, et le ciel créent une ambiance mystique très à-propos et si forte. T'es trop fort !!!

I love the use of wide angle and low POV here making this statue so huge.
The shine and glow coming out of it is another fantastic detail in contrast with the other tones of the photo.
