Hello Beverley,
An another beautiful vew of an harbour in Bretagne. I like your composition with the boat ( nice colours blue and green) in the FG and the houses in the BG on the later. Good contrast, colors well collected, great prospect, a good photo.
Have a good day,
Roger

Hi Beverley,
I like your idea of this composition. You have captured a fantastic light that stresses the colours of the boats. A very beautiful memory, it is a pity that the days become shorter and shorter! Tfs!
Warm regards

Hello Bev,
The rigging lines certainly create attractive graphism. A lovely nautical or harbor scene. Looks like a beautiful day, there is good exposure and colors. Greetings! Danilo

Hi Beverley,
Good depth on the picture with the boat on foreground and Paimpol harbour and typical house in background. I like also the colors, of the boat, the sea, the sky.
Well done for that last, but not least!
Regards,
Olivier

Hello Bev,
I am returning after a few weeks without my PC, and I see you have been to France and back in that time - good for you!!
I like the jaunty little turquoise boat very much. The 'cats cradle' of criss-crossed rigging, and other details, are all reproduced with great clarity.
I am interested in seeing the shots you are taking on your D-70, as it is the camera I have considered for my next step on from my Lumix 'bridge' camera. It is very helpful to have the opportunity to see a variety of shots demonstrating its capabilities - and compare them with their Lumix predecessors!
Best wishes....Maggie
PS (on edit) Glad this has been posted OK - I am having big problems with being 'thrown out' of the TE site when attempting to post critiques.

Hello Bev,
I very much like the contrast of the different bright colours of the three boats, as their bows make a strong diagonal across the picture.
The intricacies of the rigging also add strength to the composition, and orange float makes a fine focal point.
A sympathetic frame - I note that you like the Papyrus font too.
Kind regards,
Peter.

Hi Bev,
What marvelous clear crisp colors to the bows of these lovely fishing vessels.
They make striking reflections in the riffling surface of the lovely French harbor.
Another lovely coastal scene.

Hello Bev,
you've done a good job on the diagonals, its an excellent composition.Lovely colours and I like all the lines made by ropes etc. The ornage buoy is hanging in exactly the right plave within the frame.
regards
Bev

Hello Beverley,
I really like all the vivid and bright colours of this compo, which is well balanced but above all very pleasant to look at. The soft sky with the spot of green of the trees in the bg creates a beautiful contrast and a nice frame to let the boats shine trough the frame. I'd love to be there to enjoy the beauty of the view besides the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Nice work indeed, thanks for sharing it.
Have a great weekend and best regards,
Igor
