Photographer’s Note
Early March in Paris and it was a cold day with no sun but very calm. Not too many people around. Next to the Pompidou Centre is the Place Igor Stravinsky with its fountain and "kinetic sculpture" inspired by Stravinsky's music. After staying in le Marais twice I still haven't seen the fountain operating but I do love the sculptures which do fit with Stravinsky's music. It is a spectacular setting.
I've cropped the original a bit to get rid of the concrete in the fore ground.

Hi Ian,
Good POV and the composition sits well within the frame. The colours of the sculptures are well, colourful. I've not stayed in the Marais but I've visited this area a number of times.
I think the concrete mixer in the background adds a lot to the image, tongue planted firmly in my cheek.
Hey, thanks for sharing.
Enjoy the weekend.

Hi Ian, Interesting photo with the mixture of old architecture with modern sculptures. I like them, they are so colourful. It must be wonderful when operating. Is something moving? it looks like there is also water. Do you know what music of Stravinsky is played?
Have a nice weekend
