When I went back to Lisbon four years ago, I left my parakeets with a very nice guy in Berlin, who lived near a lake, holding many happy and loved animals like snakes, dogs, monkeys, a chameleon and an big variety of birds. Some of the animals were given to him when they didn’t have anywhere to go or just needed to be well fed or treated before being returned to Nature. On my recent visit to Berlin, I just dropped by to say hello. As usual, I ended inside one of the big cages with the macaws and the parrots. It was very funny.
