Heidelberg, nestled in the hills along the Neckar River, is one of the most picturesque destinations in Germany; spared by allied bombers in the Second World War, the city offers many historic treasures. Heidelberg's "Alte Brücke" (Old Bridge), an impressive stone bridge built in the 18th century, dates back to the Middle Ages – the original wood structures were destroyed by fire, but you can still see a medieval gate, which was part of Heidelberg’s original town wall...

It's refreshing in this brilliant-color world to see high quality black-and-white photos. Making a colorless image look real is an almost lost art. Congratulations on a beautiful photo of one of my favorite cities of Europe.

looks like an cold day, to have a walk along the Neckar-river towards the charming city of Heidelberg, abd your usual black and white picture profes this fact a lot! think some snow must have been in the air above!

Great bl/w picture with lots of nuances. The position of the people (and dog) below is just perfect. Excellent contrasts on the bridge and its reflection.

Hello Korkut,
A nice composition with a probably very wise choice of b&w. Although they're small, the persons and their dog on the nearest bank balance the large buildings across the water very well. I also like the effect of their black figures against the white snow.

Hm, benim de geri donusum bir "old bridge" ile oldu. Sizinki de gercekten cok etkileyici bir eski kopruymus. SB ve karda yuruyenlerle harika bir goruntu. Elinize saglik.
