Photographer's Note

One of the big european baroque residences.
Build in the beginning 18th century by Duke Eberhard Ludwig von Württemberg (1677-1733) it should become the biggest baroque court in Germany.
The 'Schloss' as well as the town were planned from 'scatch', nearly in the middle of nowhere.
In order to populate the city, people were 1709 called from all the contry to settle there with the promise to be free of taxes...
