Photographer's Note

On a hike the day before yesterday we surprisingly saw these molehills. Just a week ago depth of snow here was about 60 cm. Meanwhile it was washed away by heavy rain and rising temperatures. In background you still can see some snow rests on the edge of the forest.
The soil and the pastures however still gave the impression of being frozen. Perhaps the moles utilise jackhammers ... ;-)

Meanwhile all is buried again under a great deal of fresh snow. 32 cm last night ...
and it still is snowing.
