Dom zu Lübeck

Seven steep spires are found in the Old Town (Altstadt) of Lübeck, here are two more which I haven’t showed before. They belong to the Dom zu Lübeck (Lübeck Cathedral).

Lübeck Cathedral is a brick-built Lutheran cathedral, which was built by Henry the Lion. Construction started in 1173. It was partly destroyed in the Second World War, but subsequently renovated and rebuilt. The foreground features the River Trave.
