[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This is my last picture from Berlin! Tomorrow, I'll be back in The Netherlands!

And this last one is a little bit symbolical, cos after the sightseeing tour in Berlin, when I took all the pictures, I had to go to the Danish Embassy for a conference, so this picture of the building of the Embassies of the five Nordic countries is the real end of the Berlin-tour.

The Embassies of the five Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland) were built together in Berlin near Tiergarten. Each country has its own building in the complex. The entrance to all the embassies is in Felleshuset (The Pan Nordic Building).
The embassies are designed by architects from their own country and express the sovereignty and individual culture of the country, but to express the special relation the five countries have with each other, the embassies are surrounded by a copper green wall, that you can see on this picture. The brown building on the right is Felleshuset.

Please take also a look at the following links:
Danmarks ambassade i Berlin
Sveriges ambassad i Berlin
Norges ambassade i Berlin
Sendiráð Íslands í Berlín
Suomen suurlähetystö Berliini
Felleshuset

I cropped this picture a bit and added a frame.

Hope you like this picture and I hope you enjoyed my pictures from Berlin!
Thanx for visiting them! :-D

Hallo Lars.
Goed besluit van deze mooie serie. Jammer dat je niet wat meer foto's van dit mooie gebouw kon maken.
groet Rob

Hi Lars, I have been enjoying your photo series from Berlin. I hope you have more.
The inclusion of the five flags in the front well served the purpose as stated in your notes. You have very well captured the style of the building though this POV. You have had a nice blue sky to conclude your series.
Nice composition. Hope to see you next series soon.

This is a great catch of modern architecture. The teals come across great. The sky is a little bland but it works for me. I don't mind the people, as always I think they help a pic. This is a fine conclusion to this excellent series and I would just like to say thanks for taking me halfway around the world and teaching me a thing or two about Berlin!

Groeten,
John.

It's a pity that you leaving now, because , as I can see from your photo the weather is getting better (sun at last!!). Nice and clear shot Lars, with good lighting and very effective angle. Good work!!

Regards John

Lars,
Tack för turen i Berlin, och det var ju roligt att få se våra ambassader där och få höra historien bakom byggena.

I think I would have preferred some close up of a detail. What stands out is the grey wet street and the very cloudy sky, and not so much the architecture of the building. But your note saves the show luckily.

Hi Lars!
Nice and interesting architecture. Thanks again and again for your detailed notes!
Cheers, Thorsten

The weather makes a strange view on the city (compared to july !).
I like the atmosphere and the snow fits the Nordic embassies quite well ;=)
Tschuss.
