In the aft of the super ferry you find the great panorama windowes, several floors high. An excellent position to follow the boatlife outside the ship as we leave the harbour of Kiel in Germany.

Hello Jack

It looks like a prison with a view, & a good one at that! I likethe blue tones & the repetition of the bars. Well done!

Hi Jack,
Interesting idea and framing of your picture. The black against the blue works nice. I like the silhouettes of the people, without them the picture wouldhave been empty,

But I don't like that massive silhouette on the bottom left. It's too massive, not sharp enough because closer, and we don't recognize anything, so for me it's distrubing. At the same time, a cropping of the two first rectangles of the grid would not improve the picture, because it will loose its symmetry and the broad view.

Cheers,
Youssef.

I like the composition and prespective.I like the contrast between the blue and the silhouettes.Good light and sharpness.I like the boats.Well done!

Interesting view and I like the blue mood in this picture.
As Youssef, I like the silhouettes but I'm also disturbed by the dark thing on the bottom left.
I like the feeling of movement given by the traces of the ferry in the sea. The sailboat looks so close, it's amazing.

Very nice picture Jack.. I really like your framing. The glass playing an important part in the frame. It's also nice to have the sailboat in the center of the image.

interesting work here, I like the sails here and the framing, however it looks a little too blue though

The ferry looks to be a gigantic one :))
Well done for the Point of view, this is a creative one; The composition is good whith this boat through the window like in cage.
Very good blue tone.
I like it

Hi Jack,
I agree with Chris, it looks like a prison with a view but more open, the small sailboat close to the ferry is a very nice capture, good detail of the ferry in your note too.
Thanks Jack for visit.
Greetings,
John.

Hi Jack,
the structure of this big window and the silhouettes in the foreground add a nice graphic effect to the compo.Excellent central compo,I like the monochrome blue color.
Good work,
h.

Nice blue photo for your series about the huuuge ferry, Jack. Good graphical effect and repetitive element obtained from shooting through the pano windows where the outside maritime life is well placed across many of the quadrants.

Hi Jack, An excellent composition to have the combination of the indoor and outdoor combined in this picture. The shadow view of the indoor provides the environment where you took this picture. The near monotone picture of the outside provides a nice open view of the harbor. A beautiful picture.

Hi Jack,
This combination of the cyan/azur window and the grid from the window frames makes this a very graphically interesting picture. As for the composition I like that you got some heads at the bottom and the boat is of course very important.

Cheers,
Simon

Excellent composition Jack, it's like a photo from prison. Very original idea. I love the colour tones and the lighting. Perfect work!!

Regards John

This is another really neat shot through the back of the ship. The wall here, filling the image, is much more like a giant screen. The scenes beyond it also adds to that feel as do the heads of a few people and the other foreground elements. The textures of the water surface are very well captured. And the wake of the ship connects the people in this "theater" with a very real world beyond the glass screen.

Great composition, Jack! The boat looks like it wants to sail into the ferry soon... the kilwater of the ferry looks like a path to the sail-boat. Congratulations!
regards,
Greg.

A fine framework - just like watching a movie - I like the spectators in the lower right cormer. Thanks Jack for taking us back on the trip - which you a plesent stay in France as well.

It do seems like a big screen with those spectators. The bars make the photo very original. And I liked the water texture too. Congratulations!

we escape us. good capture Thanks Serge
