| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Local boys have fun by jumping to waves of ship cruising on the Bodensee. This pastime seems to be common on all bigger alpine lakes.
Obviously I didn't have the best viewing spot. But that's tourist's life.
There was strong backlight. I could have increased contrast but wanted to keep pretty close to reality. |

An action scene caught just right, I don't completely agree with you about the viewing spot, at least for photography, as to me the viewing people add a very welcome introduction to this view, without them it would be different and I think far less attractive.
Have a nice week end,
Jean-Yves
Hi Kari.
I am surprised so little comment you got. I agree with Jean-Yves, there is no mistake in the viewing spot, i think it's perfect and the moment that it is caught is perfect. And you managed to created respectable exposure despite the strong light. Excelent.

Hi Kari
Lookin @ this one I'm surprised about the few comments you've got. The composition is really good here. Nice depth with green trees and the head on the left adds interest and balances well the jumping boys to the right. And they're forzen too. So much more to see here! I like this pic, good shot.

yes this is my beloved village and i also jumped behind boats on the old wooden pier(replaced 1998)after storm lothar destroyed it.in my time ships had screws not jets and made strong waves not like now on the photo.naturally the fun had its price rarely but sometimes somebody got hurt or even killed.naturally i like the photo.
