[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
I have never before taken a picture of a parking house but the 1970´s came out so strong in this one. The location is the parking space at the International Conference Center at the Berlin exhibition grounds.

The underpass when going under the road in front of the entrance including the corridors, stairwells etc. in it had the same orange tiles on all walls and columns. To dark to take pictures in there but the orange was quite overwhelming.

Hej Ebbe,
The orange is indeed a conspicuous colour, especially in this sterile environment. The picture came out quite nice in spite of the poor light and the orange colour draws one's attention. I like the compostion with the repetitive columns and lamps. Well done!

Mvh, Christian

Hi Ebbe
I'm not used (not yet ;-) to shoot graphical subjects, but I love yours, even if I'm not always able to say why. That's the case. I can't explain but I really love this one.
Consequently, I'll not give any advice to you, but I wish to learn myself some tips... In particular I was just wondering about one point : Did you place the first column right in the center on purpose ? and if so, why do you think it would be of a stronger impact than placing it on the right side ?

Seventies look indeed! Contrasts are very strong, it emphasizes the typical orange color of this period. The repetition of identical columns and the presence of cars between them make a great composition. Warm colors in an inhospitable place... Well done!

Hello Ebbe,

A very colorful image. The image has different lighting qualities that makes it very soft and warm with the orange.
